Our Founders

Mahadevi Birla World Academy was established in 1959 by illustrious industrialist Late B K Birla in the name of his wife, Late Sarala Birla. He firmly believed that a nation could progress only when industrial and educational development complemented each other. For him, this meant assigning adequate importance to womens education. His compelling vision led to the founding of MBWA.

This legacy is continued by Late B K Birla, Late Sarala Birla and Smt Jayashree Mohta, who continue to provide inspiration and support to the school.

The Global Approach

MBWA, the co-educational school aims to provide multi-dimensional education by striking a balance between curricular and co-curricular activities for the all round development of the individual.
